To create a Proof Pic:
1. Open your Paypal Account and click on the
Details link for the transaction you would like to make a Proof Pic for.
2. Press the
Prt Sc button on your keyboard - this takes a picture of what you have on your screen.
3. Open the paint program on your computer -
Start
All Programs
Accessories
Paint
4. Right-click and Paste - you will now see your screenshot in paint
5. File - Save As Enter a name for your pic and save it.
To Protect Your Proof Pic:
It's always a good idea to protect your Proof Pics so that noone else can see your personal information and/or copy your pics and claim them as their own.
Photobucket is a free online photo management program that will let you easily edit your Proof Pics - you can get a free account here:

After you have created an account, you need to
upload your pic.
On the Albums & Uploads page you will see a box in the middle of the page that says "Upload Images & Video" .
Click on the Choose Files box.
Navigate to the place on your computer where you saved your Proof Pic.
Select it and click on Open
This will upload the file to your Photobucket account.
This picture will most likely be very large - it's a good idea to
crop the picture so that only what is essential is showing.
1. Find your Proof Pic and click on
Edit at the top of the pic.
2. On the
Basic page, click on the
Crop button
3. Left click and hold the mouse button down on your pic, and drag it to select the area of the pic that you would like to use. After you let your mouse button go, you will see small rectangle on the edges of your selection area, you can drag these rectangles to adjust the size of your box.
4. Once you have the area selected that you would like to use, right-click and select
Crop Selected Area. You will now have a smaller pic to work with.
Protect your personal information
1. Click on the
Decorate tab
2. Click on the
Draw button
3. Hold your mouse over your pic - you will see a black circle on your cursor - this will be the size of the line that the brush will draw on your pic. Use the slider bar at the top that says Brush Size to adjust the size of the line you want to use.
4. Use the brush to cross out the Transaction ID number and your email address.
5. Click on the
Done button when you are finished
To make your pics unique and difficult for anyone else to use, the best thing to do is place a watermark on it.
Watermark Your Proof Pic
1. Make sure you are still on the
Decorate tab, then click on the
Text button
2. Enter something like Property of <insert your userid here>
3. Adjust the size of the text by dragging the small boxes. You can change the location of the text by clicking and dragging anywhere inside the dotted rectangle. You can rotate the text by clicking and dragging the small arrow at the top center of the dotted rectangle.
4. On the right of the screen you will see a Text Options box. Select the
Transparent box next to where it says Background.
5. Select the Font you would like to use.
6. Click on the
Layers tab
7. Click on the
Opacity button
8. You will see another slider bar - slide it towards 0 until your text blends in to your image without blocking the view of any of your picture.
9. When you are happy with the way it looks, click on
Replace Original
You Proof Pic is now ready to post!!
Post Your Proof Pic
1. Start a New Thread in the
Freebie Proof forum - for the title, you can say something like - Look what I got from xyzsite.com, or whatever you want

.
2. In your Photobucket account, go to the page where your finished pic is now displayed - hover your mouse over it and you will see 4 links underneath it. Select the code next to the IMG Code box so it is highlighted, then copy it.
3. Paste the code directly into the new thread you just started - it will look something like this:

4. Click on Save Changes and watch the kudos come in
